No great surprise.
Same will happen to most if not all of them that remain. Can only really see the Lion surviving.

Load of bollocks. Tell that to the 200 or so in the Lion on matchdays and the 50-70 or so on non-matchday Saturday nights

Shame had some good nights in there back in the day when T N managed it. Just like the Ragland opposite,The Coach Horses and the Albert both near by, but long gone..

It all went downhill when the Green Man shut, now that was a top pub.

It's a travesty how they've left the Spotted Dog to crumble. Used by Henry VIII as a hunting ground apparently. All the doe theyve splashed out on the area and they couldn't do something with that. I still pass it regularly

Re: Vic Tavern

There is a "Save the Spotted Dog" group who are trying to get various parties interested in it. But it's all about money and can it be a viable pub again?
Some suggestions were to turn it into a museum but the council have no money.
Perhaps they are barking up the wrong tree.
I'll get my coat!

Just that bit too far away. 500 yards up West Ham Lane then it might've been OK.
